Prices, Availability, and Payment
- Pricing: We reuse many plant containers. Container tags may have incorrect or outdated prices. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout—please ask a team member if you have questions.
- Stock Availability: Inventory changes frequently due to seasonal selection and demand. Plant listings and photos are representative and may not reflect real-time stock. Please contact our staff for current availability, quantities, and pricing.
- Quotes: Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted and are subject to availability at the time of order.
- Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).
- Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
- No Cash Back: No cash back is provided on gift certificate purchases.
- No COD: We do not accept cash on delivery (COD) orders.
Delivery
- Payment Required: All deliveries must be paid in advance. No COD.
- Drop-Off: Driver unloads curbside only.
- Delivery Window: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, subject to change without notice.
- Large Specimens: Delivery of specimens larger than a 24” box may require an additional fee for extra delivery personnel (we’ll confirm before scheduling).
Delivery Minimums and Fees (By Area)
- Tier 1—$300 Minimum / $80 Delivery: Bonsall, Carlsbad, Escondido, Fallbrook, Oceanside, San Marcos, Vista
- Tier 2—$500 Minimum / $100 Delivery: Carmel Valley, De Luz, Del Mar, Encinitas, Pauma Valley, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Temecula, Valley Center
- Tier 3—$700 Minimum / $120 Delivery: El Cajon, La Jolla, La Mesa, Lake Elsinore, Miramar, Murrieta, Pacific Beach, San Clemente, San Diego, Santee
All other areas may require higher order minimums and delivery fees.
Plant Health Guarantee
We guarantee our plants are healthy at the time of purchase. Once a plant leaves the nursery, we cannot assume responsibility for future performance or health due to conditions beyond our control (weather, watering, planting, soil, pests, etc.).
Returns & Cancellations
- Returns must be made within 5 days of pickup or delivery.
- Plants must be in original condition and must remain in the original Ganter Nursery container (i.e., not removed, transplanted, or repotted). Returns are not accepted for plants that have been planted, installed, or altered from their original sold condition.
- Receipt required for all returns.
- A 20% restocking fee may apply to returns and cancellations.
- Special order items are not returnable.
- Approved returns receive Ganter Nursery store credit only (no refunds).
Recycle Nursery Containers
Ganter Nursery credit is provided for eligible containers returned in reusable condition. Broken, cracked, or damaged containers may be rejected.
- 1-gallon container: $0.05
- 5-gallon container: $0.20
- 15-gallon container: $0.80
Other Policies
- Our staff can help load purchases with care, but we are not responsible for damage that may occur while loading or transporting plants.
- Delivery or pickup for the full purchase must be scheduled within 7 days of selection unless otherwise arranged.
